One of the recurring questions this month is, “Why do you plan to launch Unicoinˣ outside of the United States, if the U.S. Administration is now supportive of crypto?”

Silvina and I decided to take advantage of crypto-friendly jurisdictions because the favorable changes in the USA, while undeniable, are not progressing fast enough.

Even now, almost five months after of President Trump’s Inauguration, the SEC is still staffed with Gensler-era personnel, some of whom are still progressing with their efforts to damage Unicoin and suppress crypto industry. The Administration is aware of it and Vice-President Vance promised to fire such operatives, but we cannot just wait for it to happen as the SEC persecution has already delayed our progress by over a year.

The SEC has not yet changed its stance that “most cryptocurrencies are securities”, despite the Chair of the SEC Crypto Task Force calling for such a change. Until this change is implemented, we cannot list ú coins of Unicoin Inc. (USA) on crypto exchanges.

Let me also make clear that I do expect Unicoin USA to overcome the resistance of the anti-crypto crusaders. Many crypto companies have gone through much worse. For example, Ripple has been sued by the SEC for 5 years, but it has emerged victorious:
