1/ In my update yesterday, I wrote that SafeBets may be able to increase the Unicoin community to over a billion people, which may make Unicoin the leading cryptocurrency.
I’ve received many resulting comments. Many investors are genuinely excited and agree that the “risk-free betting” concept of SafeBets is so novel, intriguing, and compelling that it can indeed stand out from the “noise” and result in fast growth.
Several investors asked me what I see as the primary challenges and risks.
The primary risk, in my opinion, is a major company copying SafeBets’ concept and “stealing” the opportunity from us. Thus, we must move very fast. And for that, adequate funding is essential.
To reach 1 billion users, SafeBets will likely need to spend $5B.
To jump-start the revenues, we are raising $2B through equity fundraising.
The table below was prepared for next week’s announcement of the 25¢/share round. That round is NOT open yet; we are still processing the requests coming in for the 10¢/share round open to our current investors and subscribers:
Given that Polymarket raised $2B from a single investor, I see the above plan as doable, if not “too conservative.”
Still, success is never guaranteed, and we will have to work hard and smart to achieve our objectives.
2/ This time, I expect little, if any, regulatory resistance.
SafeBets has a huge advantage over the current leaders of the Prediction Industry. Unlike them, SafeBets’ business model is not based on gambling. Nobody can lose even a penny by predicting on SafeBets, but many people can earn millions of dollars.
3/ We’ve demonstrated our resilience to lawfare attacks, even when we became the focal point of the notorious War on Crypto.
