The journalist’s question caught me off guard, simply because walking away had never crossed my mind. When you disrupt massive industries, you always risk entrenched incumbents using corrupt officials to shut you down.
“If I wanted to be bullied by corrupt officials, I could have stayed in Russia,” I replied. “One has no place in business if he folds in the face of lawfare attacks.”
