During the period of “irrational exuberance”, some parody coins were valued in tens of billions of dollars. Go pubic during the times of market panic, and you commit business suicide.
Unicoin was scheduled to hold an ICO in November of last year, shortly after the crypto market reached its all-time high. It was a period of high enthusiasm for crypto, with analysts debating when Bitcoin would reach $1 million per coin.
Days before our ICO day, the SEC announced its new Crypto Taxonomy, forcing us to postpone our ICO as our past promises of leading Unicoin to success would have made it an illiquid “security”, based on the Nov 12, 2025, Statement of the SEC Chairman.
We’ve adjusted by transferring all “essential managerial efforts” to Unicoin Foundation and we created a technical listing of Unicoin on the largest decentralized exchange.
But the crypto market is now in the state of “extreme fear”:
The fear is at the highest level in the history of this index and analysts now talk about the risk of “total capitulation”:
In this situation, an ICO without a clear strategy for outperforming the crypto market would be suicidal.
Directors of Unicoin Foundation approved the strategy which may make Unicoin the leading cryptocurrency, and it will be announced next week.
